Previously, there were rumors circulating about Thalapathy Vijay making a cameo appearance in ‘Jawan,’ and director Atlee has now addressed these speculations.
In an interview with DT Next, Atlee clarified, “Vijay sir is not making a cameo appearance in the film. If that were the case, I would have personally announced it. Perhaps, I have plans for a future project that will feature both of these talented actors in leading roles. Interestingly, I myself made a cameo appearance in ‘Jawan.'”
According to some reports, ‘KGF’ star Yash and Prithviraj Sukumaran have reportedly lent their voices for the Kannada and Malayalam versions of ‘Jawan,’ respectively. This rumor gained traction when netizens noticed the names of Yash, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Karan Johar listed in the IMDB credits for ‘Jawan’ under the ‘special thanks’ category.
Speaking about ‘Jawan,’ Shah Rukh Khan expressed, “‘Jawan’ is a universally appealing story that transcends language and geographical boundaries, meant to be enjoyed by all. Credit goes to Atlee for crafting this exceptional film, which has also been an exciting experience for me, given my fondness for action films. The teaser merely scratches the surface and offers a glimpse of what’s in store.”
‘Jawan’ also features Deepika Padukone in a special appearance, alongside Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Yogi Babu, Ridhi Dogra, Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureshi, and Sunil Grover in significant roles.
